CONFIRMATION
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2024-2025 IS CLOSED
THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation," whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace.89 For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed."90 Young adults who are enrolled our Confirmation Program must be in High School or about to enter the 9th grade.
This formation program is structured as a two year sacramental preparation. Our program is designed to cover information about our Catholic Faith, our Church and prayer life. Students are scheduled receive the sacraments of Confirmation in the second year. Students who are in High School who have not been Baptized or received First Holy Communion can be enrolled in our Confirmation-First Communion Program.
